From 21 to 25 January 2019, it’s week to prepare for The world championship (Competition Preparation Week 2019 – CPW2019). In January 24 the first Deputy Minister of EMERCOM of Russia Colonel General of internal service Alexander Chupriyanworking has arrived in Kazan. Inspected the facilities of the 45th world championship in professional skills according to Worldskills standards. The world championship will be held in Kazan from 22 to 27 August of 2019.
More than 47 thousand participants, experts and officials from more than 70 countries will be involved in competitions in 50 competencies. Contestants and experts in the amount of 1,300 people will live in the Universiade Village, the total capacity of 14 thousand people. Competitions will be held at the international exhibition center "Kazan Expo". The international exhibition center "Kazan Expo" is located near the international airport "Kazan".
The total area of the permanent and temporary pavilions of the international exhibition center "KAZAN EXPO" will be more than 160 thousand square meters. The expected number of guests and participants is more than 250 thousand people. The building was designed and built according to the "Special technical conditions" developed and agreed with the EMERCOM of Russia in the prescribed manner. The complex of buildings includes the main building and temporary structures. Taking into account the functional fire danger of the premises, the building is divided into 5 fire compartments. In order to ensure fire safety, the building is equipped with an automatic fire alarm system.
Then Alexander Chupryan held a meeting with the leadership of the main Department of EMERCOM of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan, where he heard reports of the Deputy head of the main Department of EMERCOM of Russia in RT Colonel of internal service Irek Ilgizovich Kadamov on the readiness of forces and means to ensure the safety of "WorldSkills -2019", Deputy head of the main Department of EMERCOM of Russia in RT Colonel of internal service Sergey Valentinovich Sergeyev on Supervisory activities.

The world championship of professional skills according to WorldSkills standards is a world competition of working professions, where young professionals under the age of 25 fight for the title of the best master in their specialty. The championship is held under the auspices of WorldSkills International – an international organization whose aim is to increase the prestige of working professions.
Kazan won the right to host the world championship following the vote of the WSI General Assembly in San Paulo (Brazil) on August 10, 2015. The capital of Tatarstan won this right, ahead of French Paris and Belgian Charleroi.
