On the evening of July 4, 7 people, including a five-year-old girl, fell out of the boat during a boat ride near the village Ikskoe Oostje in the Mendeleevsk district on the Kama river as a result of a sharp wind about 300 meters from the shore.

An eyewitness heard cries for help, saved and brought people who fell into the water to the shore. However, while in the water, a man born in 1987, holding his wife and child on the surface, swallowed water and drowned. On the shore, witnesses tried to give him first aid, which, unfortunately, was not successful.

As a result of the incident, 1 person died and 6 people were rescued, including 1 child. According to preliminary data, people were in the boat without life jackets.
