Representatives of physical culture and sport association of the disabled of the Republic of Tatarstan addressed to the Minister of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rafis Khabibullin, with a request to personally congratulate and reward participants of the basketball match among the disabled with cerebral palsy. Dozens of people with disabilities responded with pleasure to the peculiar sports holiday, which passed in the hall of Kazan College of Municipal Economy and Building.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 49 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 4, false alarms – 16, short circuit of wiring without burning – 5, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 12. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 4 fires: residential sector – 2, vehicles – 1, garden houses – 1. 1 person was injured.

The evacuation drill of students and personnel of the school in case of fire passed in the comprehensive school of Kirov District of Kazan. As well, during the drill there was tested the preparedness of forces and means of fire departments to emergency response when fire occurs at crowded places. On November, 2016 in this school there was burning in the labor room on the first floor. Thereat, serious mistakes were made in the evacuation organization during the fire. Today, both the administration, and students did coherently, without censures.

Including garbage extinguishing – 14, false alarms – 37, short circuit of wiring without burning – 5, meal burning – 4, cooperation with other services – 8, others – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 9 fires: residential sector – 7, outhouses – 1, hay – 1.

On the first day of the new academic year according to the good tradition and within the Year of Civil Defense and the Month Children’s Safety, employees of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan participate in conducting Knowledge Day with students of educational institutions and conduct lessons on keeping measures of life safety. Special attention in talks with children will be paid to issues of fire safety and using 112 single call number of emergency services. Those knowledge and skills which are laid down in early age will help them to deal with fires and not panic in future. All of them were given colorful memos and traditionally there was made a general photo.

Including garbage extinguishing – 5, false alarms – 21, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 16. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 7 fires: residential sector – 1.

They have to organize the work on mow the weed grass, which conceals danger of natural fires spread in spring. This task for local administrations was set by the republican leadership during an unscheduled session of the Commission on Emergency Situations and Fire Safety of the Republic of Tatarstan. The session passed today under the leadership of the First Deputy Prime-Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Nigmatullin.

In order to prevent happening and spreading natural fires to settlements, the administration of Kaybitsky Municipal District organized the work on mowing weeds around house yards and other territories in settlements. Comfortable weather conditions of the past summer contributed to intensive grass growing and much of it raise un height up to 2 and even 3 meters. All of this will turn into deadwood in spring next year. But everything can be prevented by organizing and implementing elementary work on cleaning up on confided territories.

Before the Knowledge Day, there was organized a holiday in the 8th squad of federal fire service for the Republic of Tatarstan for the children of its employees, who will have to enter the school for the first time on September 1. The children were led to the review excursion to the museum of Zelenodolsk fire and rescue garrison. The first-graders could sit at firefighters’ desks, try means of personal respiratory protection. All of them were given first-grader’s collections, sweet gifts, memorable souvenirs, timetables and fire safety memos.
