Today, in a picturesque place in Vysokaya Gora District of the republic near the 'Baitik' training center stretches a large school tourist camp. The final stage of the republican competitions 'School of Safety' started here, in which 12 teams of students of secondary schools of the republic took part. In the morning of May 15, 2018 there were burning tanks with flammable liquids on the territory of a production plant on Tetsevskaya street of Moscow District of Kazan. At 09.41 AM the open burning on the area of 100 sq. m. was liquidated. The cause of the fire is being ascertained. Specialists of the mobile laboratory of the Ministry of Ecology and Rospotrebnadzor work on the site to assess the environmental damage and air pollution.

The fire occurred on May 11 in the village of Fedotovka, Leninogorsk District, in an apartment building. The owner of the apartment, where the fire occurred, was with her family in the bedroom. She heard the sound of a trigger of a fire detector, which was installed in the kitchen in July 2017 within the republican action.

Today more than 30 employees of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the republican environmental action 'Clean Forests of Tatarstan'. This action is aimed at creating a favorable sanitary-epidemiological situation in forests located on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan. Within the event EMERCOM employees removed household rubbish, took out wooden constructions in the forest near the 'Dubravnaya' ski-base.
