When the Chief of Laishevo fire and rescue garrison, Fyodor Kuznetsov, arrived, three persons (1 man and 2 women) were in 30 meters from the coast in water among canes, holding the boat with their last ounce. The chief reached the overturned boat, put on life jackets on the victims and took the exhausted to the coast. To all appearances, the holidaymakers overloaded the boat that obviously was not intended for three persons.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 44 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 6, abandoned buildings – 1, false alarms – 14, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, meal burning – 5, cooperation with other services – 12. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 5 fires: private houses – 1, apartment houses – 3, outhouses – 1. 1 person died, 4 people were rescued.

As a result of passing a complex of dangerous meteorological phenomena between 12 PM and 8 PM in 29 municipal units of the Republic of Tatarstan, power supply in 85 settlements with the population of more than 46,000 people was shut down, 41 trees, 1 light post fell down, roofs of 52 residential houses, constructions and administrative buildings were damaged, 27 vehicles were damaged.

Including garbage extinguishing – 11, cane – 1, dry grass – 1, false alarms – 34, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, meal burning – 3, cooperation with other services – 29, others – 2. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 5 fires: outhouses – 1, garden houses – 1, vehicles – 1, abandoned buildings – 1, other objects – 1.

According to the Department of Hydrometeorology and Environment Observation of RT, in the afternoon and evening on May, 30, 2018, on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan and the city of Kazan there are expected strong wind with gusts up to 15-20 m/s, between 12 PM and 8 PM at places strong wind with gusts up to 20-25 m/s, locally squall and thunderstorm.

Two city beaches, ‘Locomotive’ and at the lake Komsomolskoe, were accepted by GIMS employees. And today inspectors for small vessels came to examine the ‘Nizhnee Zarechye’ beach. Unfortunately, due to strong wind and heavy rain the examination was not possible to finish, it was postponed to the next day. In Kazan, total of four official beaches and three places of mass recreation at the water will be open for holidaymakers.

Today the head of the interdistrict department of supervision and preventive work for Aksubaevo and Nurlat municipal districts, Rifkat Yusupov with servants of churches held a preventive class on measures of fire safety within the Year of Safety Culture in the system of EMERCOM of Russia. The department's employee told about the most widespread sources of fires in rooms of churches.

Including garbage extinguishing – 11, false alarms – 26, short circuit of wiring without burning – 4, meal burning – 1, cooperation with other services – 0, others – 2. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 13 fires: residential sector – 6, outhouses – 4, garden houses – 2, various types of property – 1.

On May 28, 1989, during the liquidation of fire at pumping station of the gas plant of JSC 'Nizhnekamskneftekhim' three employees of fire service OVPO-1 of MIA TASSR were killed. This year, the first squad of the Federal Fire Service timed the memorial day of their comrades to the opening of the memorial complex, which was built on the territory of the squad, as well as in FRD-47 and FRD-35, by firefighters' hands.
