Today, the staff of the GIMS Center conducted a large-scale preventive raid along the Volga River. Representatives of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the police and the media, together with the staff of the security department of people on water bodies on four ships, went to search violators.

On July 10, OSVOD rescuers rescued a 12-year-old girl on the lake in Victory Park, Novo-Savinovsky district of Kazan. She was with her parents on vacation, went into the water, stumbled in the depth and began to sink. OSVOD rescuers of Kazan immediately pulled the child out of the water, the girl was conscious, without damage and water entering her lungs.

On July 10, 2011, the diesel-electric ship 'Bulgaria' sank near the village of Syukeevo, there were 201 people on the board. 122 people died, including 28 children. 79 people were rescued by the crew of the 'Arabella' ship under the supervision of Captain Roman Lizalin. Today, the leadership and residents of the district, relatives and friends of the passengers of that ill-fated trip, representatives of ministries of the Republic of Tatarstan gathered on the territory of the memorial complex constructed in memory of the 'Bulgaria' ship victims.

Monday

The team of the Republic of Tatarstan won the victory according to the results of interregional competitions in fire and rescue sport among Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia in Volga Federal District. Tatarstan appliers brought from Kirov 16 medals of various denominations and the cup of the tournament champion. 15 teams participated in the championship.

For the first days of arrival in children's health camps, EMERCOM staff conducts training sessions. One of the training sessions on evacuation took place in the sports and recreation camp 'Olympiets' in Nizhnekamsk district of the republic. After practical activities, there was held a general briefing on rules of behavior in case of an incident in the camp.
