Today, in the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, the winner of the professional skill competition for the title 'Best dispatcher (radio telephone operator) of units of the Federal Fire Service in the Republic of Tatarstan' was determined. Instead of a scene, the participants of the competition filled out an educational class, where they passed tests for the knowledge of the theory on special, technical and medical training, as well as on labor protection. And instead of the defile: shuttle run, strength exercises and 1 km run in a sports arena.

In order to stimulate an active citizenship among the population of the Republic of Tatarstan aimed at participating in solving issues of protecting the population and the territory from emergencies and accidents, five annual premiums of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan for saving people in extreme situations were established in the amount of 50 thousand rubles. The question of reducing the loss of population on fires and on water was raised. 

On October 20, 2018, students of the grade 4B of  the secondary school № 86 with in-depth study of individual subjects of the Soviet district of Kazan visited the Crisis Management Center. 23 students, the class teacher and 6 parents became participants in a very informative, useful and interesting excursion. The children visited the operational shift control room of the center, the meeting room of the Governmental Commission on Emergency Situations, a garage, where there was a vehicle used to eliminate consequences of various incidents and emergencies.

Incidents as of October 24:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 37 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 6, false alarms – 9, short circuit – 1, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 14, other – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 5 fires: residential sector – 2, garden houses – 1, outhouses – 1, vehicles – 1.

In the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstanjoint actions of judges and staff, bailiffs, EMERCOM employees and other relevant services of the republic worked out actions in case of a fire. In total, 356 people were evacuated in less than five minutes. According to the plan, in the courthouse on the 1st floor there was a fire in an office.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 34 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 3, false alarms – 16, short circuit – 1, meal burning – 0, cooperation with other services – 8, other – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 2 fires: residential sector – 2. 1 person died.

Today, there were final runs of the Kazan championship in fire and rescue sports among boys and girls born in 2005-06. 16 best city teams entered the fight for the main prize of the competition. The competitions were held in two types of the program: overcoming the simplified 100-meter obstacle course and climbing the assault stairs to the window of the second floor of the training tower. According to the results of the final races, the schoolchildren of lyceum No. 78 showed the best result.

Incidents as of October 22:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 46 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 8, false alarms – 17, short circuit – 0, meal burning – 1, cooperation with other services – 15. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 8 fires: residential sector – 2, garden houses – 2, buildings being constructed – 1. 2 persons were rescued.

Work to eliminate the ignition is scheduled for completion on October 23. Works are organized around the clock in two shifts. Fire extinguishing is done by filling fires up with soil, 2 trunk hose lines are laid.

As of 09.00 on October 22, the area of fire at the dump of solid industrial and household waste is 600 square meters. In total, since the start of work, the fire has been eliminated on an area of 5,400 sq. m. (the total area of the dump is 10,000 square meters). According to the results of the study, the excess of maximum permissible concentrations was not been registered. Taking into account the direction of the wind, populated areas do not fall into the smoke zone.
