Incidents as of November 22:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 37 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 5, false alarms – 14, short circuit – 1, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 7. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 2 fires: residential sector – 2. 1 person was injured.

On November 22 at 03.11 AM there was received a call from the "Svetly" residential complex, that is near the village of Kuyuki, Pestretsy district of Tatarstan. A thirty-two-year-old woman with 38 weeks gestation reported having given birth. Her husband took delivery under the direction of the 112 operator. The child was born at 03.16 AM. Her husband made all the necessary manipulations perfectly. 

In the off-season, during the freeze-up on the waters of the republic, work for rescuers is added. They not only go to the elimination of various incidents, but also spend a lot of preventive work with the population. Rescuers do not forget also about fans of ice fishing, who are pulled to the still fragile ice as a magnet. And the safety of children is in the area of special attention. Daily, EMERCOM employees conduct classes with preschool children and school students on rules of safe behavior on ice.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 40 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 1, false alarms – 22, short circuit – 1, meal burning – 1, cooperation with other services – 8. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 3 fires: residential sector – 1, outhouses – 1, bathhouses – 1. 2 persons died.

Today, participants of preventive classes were students of secondary school № 137 in Kirov district of Kazan, who listened carefully and memorized good advice from emergency workers and OSVOD rescuers on safe behavior on ice, and also learned how to handle means of rescue on the water. OSVOD rescuers spend similar classes together with GIMS inspectors regularly in educational institutions of Kazan and in the Republic of Tatarstan.

In November 2018, preventive groups visited places of residence of families in a socially dangerous situation. The inspector of the department of supervision and preventive work for Nizhnekamsk municipal district Ilalov Airat Nailevich reminded tenants of apartment buildings strict compliance with safety regulations, especially fire safety requirements when installing and operating devices.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 43 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 4, false alarms – 14, short circuit – 1, meal burning – 3, cooperation with other services – 11. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 6 fires: residential sector – 2, garden houses – 1, trailers – 1, bathhouses – 1, other objects – 1. 1 person died, 3 persons were injured, 1 person was rescued.

Preventive work on inculcating fire-safe behavior within the framework of the Year of Safety Culture is aimed not only at children but also at adults. Today the senior inspector of the department of supervision and preventive work for Pestretsy municipal district Roman Pushkov acted at general meeting in the 'Kaenkay' kindergarten before parents of preschool children.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 55 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 4, false alarms – 18, short circuit – 0, meal burning – 3, cooperation with other services – 15. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 6 fires: residential sector – 3, garden houses – 1, outhouses – 2. 1 person died.

This was the speech on November 19 at thematic conference call in EMERCOM of Russia under the leadership of Minister Yevgeny Zinichev with the participation of the ombudsman under the RF President on the rights of children Anna Kuznetsova. The reason for joining efforts was the frequent deaths of children as a result of fires due to the onset of cold weather and the beginning of the heating season. In the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, the all-Russian meeting was watched by the head of the General-Lieutenant of internal service Rafis Khabibullin, as well as the commissioner for the rights of children of the RT Guzel Udachina.
