The All–Russian campaign "Minute of Silence" is dedicated to the Day of Remembrance and Mourning - the anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War. On June 22, 2025, at 12:15 Moscow time, a minute of silence and a minute of mourning are announced simultaneously throughout Russia. All over the country, life freezes for one minute – people bow their heads and remember their relatives and friends who survived the bloodiest war of the twentieth century. The timing was not accidental — it was at this moment on June 22, 1941 that an appeal to the citizens of the Soviet Union about the treacherous attack by Nazi Germany was broadcast.
