Incidents for August 14:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 70 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 7, dry grass extinguishing – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 8 fires, 5 of them in the residential sector.

Causes of the fires are following: careless handling of fire – 2, violation of fire safety rules during electric device use – 1, violation of electrical equipment use rules – 2, arson – 1, childish prank with fire – 1, defect in vehicle systems, mechanisms and components – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 22 times. 4 persons were rescued.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 4.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 7 times. Including: door unblocking – 4, search operations on the water – 1, preventive raids at mass recreation places – 2.

08.14.2014 at 12:20 (MSK) EDDS in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny of Tukaevsky municipal district received the information from the group chief of zonal search and rescue team №6 about that behind "Sandali" public beach on Kama River, in 100 meters away from the scene in the algae, on the water surface was found the body of the boy drowned on 11.08.2014 at an unauthorized beach. 

The second unscheduled topic of discussion at the meeting of Commission on the Prevention and Emergency Response and Fire Safety of the Republic of Tatarstan was the situation with accidents on the water. 

Today, Commission on the Prevention and Emergency Response and Fire Safety of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting on the theme "The readiness of educational institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan for the new academic year" in Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan in via videoconference. 

The report on fire was received by 4:34 on August 14, 2014 to DDS-01 FD-88 FGKU "16-OFPS on the Republic of Tatarstan". The caller said that the apartment was burning on the ground floor of a residential building. Forces and means on the rank of fire №1-BIS were immediately sent to the site of fire. Also, workers of police, gorgas, gorset, ambulance were sent to the site.

Causes of the fires are following: careless handling of fire – 1, carelessness when smoking – 3, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 1, violation of electrical equipment use rules – 1,  incorrect installation and defect in heating stove – 1, violation of fire safety rules during stove use – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 13 times. 2 persons were rescued.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 3.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT –14 times. Including: door unblocking – 4, traffic accident – 2, preventive raids at mass recreation places at the water – 2, wheelchair repair – 1, safety provision at event – 1, diving trainings – 1, classes with students in orienteering – 1, others – 2.

Another group of IDPs from the South-East of Ukraine in the amount of 59 people, including 16 children, arrived to Kazan from the station Likhaya of Rostov Oblast by "Anapa-Izhevsk" train, today. That time, luggage of IDPs had more pets — cats in cages and a fairly large dog. At the railway station of Kazan refugees were met by employees of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan, representatives of the Federal Migration Service of Tatarstan, the city administration, the Ministry of Interior Affairs on RT, the Ministry of Health of Tatarstan. 

Staff of supervisory activities detachment of Volga district checked the conditions of fire safety in Kazan school №35 in anticipation of the new school year, today. New modern school complies with all fire safety requirements, but here the inspectors found minor violations of the regime character associated with current repairs in the school. According to inspectors of supervisory activities, the school will be accepted only when they will fully realize all fire prevention measures.

Causes of the fires are following: careless handling of fire – 2, violation of electrical equipment use rules – 2, arson – 1, violation of electricity network use rules – 1, childish prank – 1, ascertain – 3.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 14 times. 0 persons were rescued.

The best dog handlers of Volga Regional Center EMERCOM of Russia brought together in Kazan to prepare for the upcoming Russian competitions. Canine calculations of Sarov, Saratov, Samara and Tatarstan will hold intensive trainings for three days. Rescuers and their four-legged companions will fulfill all the necessary steps of Russian competitions: orientation, overcoming obstacles, obedience, search for people in man-made dams and natural environment.
