Today, the send-off of the winter was held in Ice Town near the Puppet Theater “Ekiyet”. Shortly before the beginning of the celebration FD-1 of the 7th Squad of Federal Fire Service had mounted guard near the icy town on an open area. Before driving into guests of the celebration, inspectors of State Fire Inspection examined the object. After an instruction they made a decision to start the enjoyment.
Firefighters and rescuers of Kazan Garrison gave the citizens and guests of the capital of Tatarstan an unforgettable and happy sports holiday for a second consecutive year – flashmob on the Public Skating Rink NEFIS near “KAZAN-Arena”. All-Russian fire and rescue flashmob is aimed to popularization of the professions of a firefighter and a rescuer, healthy life-style propaganda.
Maslenitsa will be held in 31 municipal districts and 2 city okrugs (Kazan City and Naberezhnye Chelny City) on 62 open areas. Total of 559 people were instructed on measures of fire safety. All the places of the celebration were equipped by primary extinguishing means.
On the threshold of the Defender of the Fatherland Day six young Zelenodolsk residents and one 92 years old refugee from Ukraine got passports of the Russian Federation citizen. In memory of this significant moment Tatiana Surzhko gave all of them ties with the symbol of EMERCOM and “112” single emergency call number, as well as instructions on rules of safe behavior in extreme cases.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 57 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 7. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 1 fires, none of them in the residential sector.
Causes are: violation of fire safety rules during works with fire – 1.
Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 13 times.
Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 0.
Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 9 times. Including: door unblocking – 1, traffic accident – 1, others – 7.
This year, preventive sports activity was dedicated to the 70th Anniversary of the Great Victory, 25th Anniversary of EMERCOM of Russia and 20th Anniversary of EMERCOM of the Republic of Tatarstan. Firefighters, rescuers, employees of departments of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan will participate in the flashmob.
Firefighters of Almetyevsky Garrison of Fire Service Held fire tactical trainings with working-out extinguishing a fire on the crowded object and evacuation of the personnel and students on the basis of GAOU SPO “Almetyevsky Polytechnical School” in Almetyevsk.

Causes are: violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 1, carelessness when smoking – 1, defect in electric equipment of vehicle – 1, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 2, careless handling of fire – 1, violation of electrical equipment use rules – 1.

This year, the celebration of Maslenitsa accounts for February 16 to 22. In Tatarstan, Inspectors of State Fire Inspection organized preventive examinations of activity spots in advance. Instructions on measures of fire safety are held with service personnel at all objects.
