Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 46 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 4, false alarms – 17, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, singed meal – 3, cooperation with other services – 5, others – 2. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 3 fires, 2 of them in residential sector.
Causes are: arson – 1, carelessness when smoking – 1, careless handling of fire – 1, violation of fire safety rules during electrical equipment use – 1.
Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 8 times.
Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 1.
Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 6 times. Including: unblocking – 4, others – 2.

According to the work results of 2014, Ruslan V. Meretiakov, the chief of FD-78 FKU “1st SFFS SFS for RT (contract)”, was awarded the best chief of fire department among departments of the squad. Ruslan was born on January 13, 1977 in Nizhnekamsk in a family of MIA employees. The department chief is honored among his subordinates. He is a just, exacting leader and always in front of his subordinates even in sports, in fighting work, showing a result by his personal example.
