President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov sincerely congratulated war veterans, home front workers, servicemen of Kazan Garrison on behalf of State Council and Government of RT and personally with the 70th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 144 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 57, dry grass extinguishing – 1, false alarms – 54, short circuit of wiring without burning – 3, singed meal – 1, cooperation with other services – 9. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 10 fires, 3 of them in residential sector.

Today, unveiling of stele for Gazinur Gafiatullin, a Hero of the Soviet Union, took place in Bugulma. During the war years he covered the enemy’s machine-gun with his chest by which he saved hundred lives of his companions in arms. Employees of HQ of EMERCOM of Russia for RT, EMERCOM of RT and departments made their contribution to save memorials for Heroes of the Soviet Union. Of many thousands collective of the department made a decision to collect money for repairing the memorial for Gazinur Gafiatullin and present the renewed stele to the city on the eve of the 70th Anniverary of the Great Victory.

From the beginning of May on the territory of garden and dacha associations of the Republic of Tatarstan preventive operation “Dacha” is being held. Its aim is to identify and force people to eliminate violations of fire safety rules during “special fire prevention mode”. Within the month, employees of state fire inspection will organize examinations of keeping fire safety rules in all dacha households.

Before the celebration of Victory Day, employees of fire service garrison of Naberezhnye Chelny City headed by the Chief of the city’s Office of EMERCOM, Rafail Ziatdinov, visited Gilmitdin Sharafutdinov, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War. The guests came with gifts, sincerely congratulated the front-line soldier with the forthcoming holiday.

Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 5 fires, 1 of them in residential sector.

Social-patriotic action “Flag of Victory” was held in the 1st Squad of Federal Fire Service for the Republic of Tatarstan on the eve of the 70th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. Specially made analogue of the Flag of Victory was festively driven over all fire departments of the squad with keeping all military honors. Meetings were held in every department with the participation of the staff, Great Patriotic War veterans and back land workers.

Employees of the 8th Squad of Federal Fire Service went round all of their veterans of war and fire service of Zelenodolsk with traditional food sets, colorful postcards, money awards and the most important, with the warmest and the most sincere congratulations with the forthcoming holiday of the Great Victory.

Festive award of medals “For Longevity” to the best 25 employees of Fire Service of Naberezhnye Chelny took place on the square near the memorial complex “Motherland” on the eve of the celebration of the Victory Day. The Chief of the 15th Squad of Federal Fire Service for the Republic of Tatarstan, Sergey Subbotin, awarded the medals.
