Today, the staff of the Center of GIMS of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, rescuers of Search and Rescue Squad of Civil Defense Department of the Executive Committee of the City of Kazan and rescuers of OSVOD held another action “EMERCOM For Safe Summer!” on “Nizhnee Zarechye” beach. EMERCOM staff showed the whole succession of actions when providing first aid to a drowned. The holidaymakers were given colorful booklets and leaflets on safe holiday on the water.

Including burning garbage extinguishing – 6, false alarms – 22, singed meal – 8, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 12. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 14 fires, including in the residential sector – 4.

Student volunteer fire crew of MOU “Volunteer Fire Service of Kazan Squad” will protect guests and participants of XVI FINA World Aquatics Championship which will be held in Kazan from July 24 to August 9, 2015. Sportsmen from 187 countries of the world will live there. More than 20 volunteer firefighters will be on duty round clock in GAU RT “Universiade Village” in cooperation with the staff of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan.

Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 4 fires, including in the residential sector – 1.

Dress rehearsal of opening ceremony of the World Championship was held on the eve of the official opening of XVI World Aquatics Championship in ice palace “Tatneft-Arena”. More than eight thousand viewers, as well as Minister of Sport of the Russian Federation, Vitaliy Mutko, and Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, witnessed the colorful run-through. Total of 239 people and 25 units of techniques, including from EMERCOM of Russia – 123 people and 30 units of techniques were involved in the trainings.
