Within the next few days non-winter warm weather is still forecasted on the territory of Tatarstan.

Traditional competitions on rescue operations during traffic accident consequences elimination were held on the territory of the fire department No. 55 of OFPS-15 for the Republic of Tatarstan among departments of the 15th Squad of Federal Fire Service for the Republic of Tatarstan and the 4th Squad of Federal Fire Service for the Republic of Tatarstan (contractual).

Firefighters reported on their disastrous situation at 5:24 P.M. on February 3. One of the fishermen told that their three-wheel snowmobile with a trailer broke down and they could not reach the river bank by themselves, and that they were freezing.

Incidents as of February 3:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 51 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 2, false alarms – 19, short circuit of wiring without burning – 0, burnt meal – 2, cooperation with other services – 10, others – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 6 fires, including 5 of them in the residential sector, vehicles – 1. 1 person died.

A museum of fire service began working in Zelenodolsk. It was opened in the 8th Squad of Federal Fire Service on December 29, 2015 in the honor 25th anniversary of EMERCOM of Russia and 20th Anniversary of EMERCOM of Tatarstan.

Including burning garbage extinguishing – 3, false alarms – 19, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, burnt meal – 2, cooperation with other services – 7, others – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 3 fires, including 2 of them in the residential sector, garden houses – 1.

On February 2 at 4:00 P.M., according to the decision of the operating organization, in connection with the weather conditions the ice passage over the river Kama with the route the village of Pokrovskoe of Yelabuzhsky District – the village of Krasny Klyuch of Nizhnekamsky District. The traffic of vehicles with the maximum mass of 2 tons was allowed. The passage distance if 700 meters.

Within fire prevention work in residential sector, workers of Nizhnekamsk Squad of State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Fire Service of the Republic of Tatarstan” make rounds of each house everyday in order to explain hosts and responsible householders about necessity to keep requirements of fire safety at home.

Including burning garbage extinguishing – 0, false alarms – 14, short circuit of wiring without burning – 3, burnt meal – 1, cooperation with other services – 11. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 5 fires, including 3 of them in the residential sector, outhouses – 1, garden houses – 1.

By Order of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, the new fire station No. 93 with the regular staff of 54 people on securing industrial objects of the oil refining company was organized on the territory of JSC “TANECO”. Large amount of explosive and flammable materials which require special ways of fire protection organization and provision are used in the production. That is why necessity of creation of a new fire station appeared. All of the newest technological developments were taken into account during the construction of the fire station’s building.
