In Nizhnekamskoe Reservoir the water level near the city of Naberezhnye Chelny is 63,72 m (-18 cm), its upper critical point is 65.9 m. Lower tail water level at Nizhnekamsk HPP is 58,22 m (+36 cm), its upper critical point is 60 m.

Today, a meeting in memory of participants of liquidation of the Chernobyl accident who performed their duty heroically was held in Kazan. The event passed in the honor of the 30th anniversary of the tragedy at the nuclear power plant, and took place in the park at the intersection of Yamashev and Amirhan avenues. The ceremony of laying flowers at the monument to Chernobyl victims was attended by Deputy Minister for Civil Defense and Emergencies of the Republic of Tatarstan, Nikolay Surzhko, as well as employees of Kazan Fire and Rescue Garrison and Cadets of Fire and Rescue grades of Kazan school No. 101.
