Special tactics drill with joint mobile antiepizootic constant readiness squad on “Identification, Localization and Liquidation of African Swine Fever Pesthole in a Settlement” successfully finished in the city of Laishevo. All of the actions of the joint squad and features of work process in the epizootic pesthole were observed by the Deputy Chief of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, Andrey Orlov, the Head of Laishevo District, Mikhail Afanasyev, Head of Agricultural Supervision Department of Russia for RT, Nurislam Khabipov, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of RT, Nazip Khazipov, Deputy Chief of the Headquarters of Veterinary of the Cabinet of Ministers of RT, Almaz Gibadullin.

On March 11, 2015, gas and smoke protection service’s crew, headed by Lieutenant Colonel of inner service, Sergey Kostin, had time to save five people out of ruins when “Admiral” trade center was in fire in Kazan. Colonel Kostin himself was getting out the last of his crew. During the evacuation building constructions collapsed.

At 8.31 P.M. on July 25, 2016, there was received report about falling of a 12-year-old girl (diagnosis – cerebral palsy) down from the 7th floor of a residential building onto metal shield of a shop in Kazan. Duty shift of Civil Protection Department’s SAR squad rescuers of Kazan Executive Committee arrived to the scene at 8.40 P.M. With the help of climbing equipment the rescuers evacuated the girl on rigid stretchers and passed her to an ambulance brigade.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 86 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 15, false alarms – 38, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, burnt meal – 6, cooperation with other services – 6, others – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 11 fires, residential sector – 4, outhouses – 3, vehicles – 3, garden houses – 1.

Final stage of competitions for the title of “The Best Team of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan Among Fire Crews of Departments of Federal Fire Service of State Fire Service, Which Use Fire Technique for Fire Extinguishing in High-Rise Buildings” were concluded. FD-65 OFPS-11 of the city of Almetyevsk got the winner’s cup, employees of OFPS-15 of Naberezhnye Chelny took the second place, and firefighters of the 48th special department of OFPS-7 of Kazan took the third place.

Workers of the separate post on the protection of the village of Bolshoe Shemyakino of Apas squad of fire service of the Republic of Tatarstan held preventive talks with workers of the agricultural companies “Mayak” and “Zarya”, during which they were explained fire safety requirements during agricultural techniques use, given memos and reminded about consequences of actions in case of combine harvesters burning, as well as about the necessity of completeness of combines with fire extinguishing means.

Including burning garbage extinguishing – 15, false alarms – 28, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, burnt meal – 2, cooperation with other services – 17. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 6 fires, residential sector – 2, outhouses 3, vehicles – 1.

Today, a real ground of search and rescue operations was deployed on the territory of Kazan search and rescue squad. EMERCOM employees prepared to meet the guests. Rescuers invited the most active children, frequent visitor of “KidSpace” Family Entertainment Center, who reached the “Cosmostars” level. in order to share skills of people rescuing with young explorers of professions.
