Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 52 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 4, false alarms – 24, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, meal burning – 3, cooperation with other services – 8. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 9 fires, including resident sector – 3, outhouses – 5, various types of property – 1. 1 person died.

Selected team of the Republic of Tatarstan won the Cup of the Prime-Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan on Applied Fire Sports in the 12th time. In the close contest, Tatarstan masters of applied fire sports managed to snatch victory in total score and retain the title of the winner of this prestigious All-Russian competitions. Moreover, our team won in winter championship of Volga Federal District, which was held in parallel with the Cup, one more time.

Our sportsmen managed to achieve such high result in close contest. As a result, Tatarstan appliers climb up the first place from the sixth one and head the three of leaders, for now. Also this day, two highest achievements were set up on applied fire sports in “100-meter obstacle course” discipline among women and girls.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 36 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 3, false alarms – 11, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 7. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 7 fires, including resident sector – 1, outhouses – 4, vehicles – 1, hay – 1.

Today, the work of civil defense and territorial subsystem of the Single State System of Emergencies Prevention and Liquidation of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2016 was summarized at a joint board of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan and EMERCOM RT. The meeting was attended by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov and the Main Federal Inspector for RT, Renat Timerzyanov.

Unprecedented number of participants, more than 450, 26 teams from 24 regions of Volga and Central Russia started up fighting for honorary trophy of XIII All-Russian Competitions for the Cup of the Prime-Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan on applied fire sports. The tournament is held traditionally in the sports center of the the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan. The opening ceremony was attended by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov. Among honored guests there were the Chief of the Headquarters, Lieutenant-General of inner service, Rafis Khabibullin, the leadership of the Headquarters and other officials.

The work of services and departments of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan and EMERCOM RT was summed up in the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan. During the meeting, which passed under the chairmanship of the first Deputy Chief of the Headquarters, Colonel of inner service, Tahir Karimullin, reports of department chiefs were listened on the following directions: fire service, state fire supervision, civil defense, safety on water bodies, informational security provision, emergency situation risks prevention. On the whole, the work in 2016 was recognized successful.

Competitions within the regional championship of the Republic of Tatarstan “Young Professionals” (WorldSkills Russia-2017) on “Rescue Works” competence end in Tetyushi. Today, students of Tetyushi State College of Civil Defense, namely, four teams of the best trained future rescuers competed in two disciplines: taking out an injured person jammed in car after traffic accident and fire relay with deployment from fire truck.

In order of people’s safety provision on water objects in winter and warning the population, the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan presents the information on ice thickness and potentially dangerous places on water objects of the Republic of Tatarstan.
