Awarding for perennial and excellent serving the job of civil defense, for merit and personal contribution to the development and improvement of events in the field of civil defense, protecting people and territories from emergency situations, providing fire safety and safety of people on water bodies passed within the celebration of the Day of Civil Defense of Russia and the Year of Civil Defense in the system of EMERCOM of Russia in the hall of the Commission on Emergency Situations of the Crisis Management Center of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan. The awarding was held by the Deputy Chief of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan for protection, monitoring and prevention of emergency situations, Andrey Orlov.

Within the month of civil defense, which will last until November 4, employees of the republican emergency department and the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan hold thematic lessons in republican schools. At open lessons, EMERCOM specialists tell schoolchildren the history of becoming the civil defense in Russia, functions and the measures system of civil defense, as well as tasks of CD, alarms of CD and actions of people during war and peace.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 80 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 11, extinguishing stubble – 2, false alarms – 18, short circuit of wiring without burning – 4, meal burning – 1, cooperation with other services – 36. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 4 fires: residential sector – 1.

All-Russian Psychological Forum in Kazan Federal University has started. Within the forum psychologists from 70 regions of the Russian Federation, as well as representatives of psychological organizations of countries of near and far abroad, gathered in the capital of Tatarstan. Among honorary guests of the VI session of the Russian Psychological Association (RPA), there are the President of the International Union of Psychological Science under UNESCO, Dr. Sathasivan Cooper, and Vice-President of the RPA, manager of the Center of Emergency Psychological Aid of EMERCOM of Russia, Yulia Shoygu. Within the forum, there was an exhibition of achievements and designs in the field of psychology.

In the honor of the 85th anniversary of the foundation of the system of civil defense of Russia, 30th anniversary of the 8th squad of federal fire service and 85th anniversary of the foundation of the city of Zelenodolsk, employees of the emergency department organized and held at once several events directed to the education of the growing generation and propaganda of safety measures among children. One of the bright events was a sporty holiday for children with disabilities. And children from the school No. 15 of the city of Zelenodolsk visited firefighters of the fire and rescue department No. 52.

On October 2, within the Decade of Old Persons, in the ‘Rodnik’ culture house, former employees received congratulations with the most esteemed holiday, the Day of Old Person. The event was opened by young firefighters, students of the 4A grade of the secondary school No. 1. The meeting was attended by the squad leadership, chairmen of the Board of Veterans of Naberezhnye Chelny and Mamadysh fire and rescue garrisons, Anatoly Ryabov and Viktor Loginov. During the tea-drinking in warm and friendly atmosphere, veterans willingly shared with their memories about service years, discussed joint plans. Also, they honored the memory of the gone comrades.

Firefighters of the republic eliminated 6 fires: residential sector – 4.

All-Russian Psychological Forum will take place in Kazan Federal University from October 5 to 7. It will be attended by leading psychologists of the country and representatives of the Regional Psychological Association (RPA). Together they will discuss basic directions of development of psychology and key problems of modern psychological science and practice. Vice-President of RPA, manager of the Center of Emergency Psychological Aid of EMERCOM of Russia, Candidate of Psychological Scidences, Yulia Shoygu, will make a speech about results of the operation of psychological service of power departments at the plenary session.

On October 4, within the All-Russian open lesson of life safety essentials, which is dedicated to the 85th anniversary of civil defense of Russia, thematic lessons passed in all of the republican schools. Students in public schools were informed about the history of formation and development of the country’s civil defense, the role of civil defense as an important component of the national security on the modern stage, about further formation of the culture of life safety in the growing generation and preparing it to actions in various extreme situations.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 121 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 4, false alarms – 14, short circuit of wiring without burning – 3, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 92. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 4 fires: residential sector – 2, construction van – 1, various types of property – 1. 1 person died, 1 person was injured.
