Theoretical knowledge in questions of fire tactics and technics, a labour safety and medical preparation, and also physical stamina firemen from all divisions of republic have shown today at a final stage of review-competition «The best fireman of a federal fire service in Tatarstan Republic».

The Tatarstan Republic team has won silver medals following the results of the open fire sports championship of the MES of Russia, which has come to the end in Chelyabinsk. Sportsmen of Tatarstan for the first time for last 23 years managed to come to a podium. Our team celebrated similar success in far 1986, and here now it managed again to return to number of the strongest in Russia.

Nobody in Tatarstan was unaffected, when the 8^th of August 2008 the tragic events in South Osetia started, irrespective of creed and nationality. In the divisions of Ministry of Emergency Situations  of the Tatarstan Republic phone calls were ringing with the citizens requests to help victims of osetian conflict.

     The 31^st republican firemen competition have finished. The competition have been arranged in Almetievsk city. The first and the second places have been taken by  Almetievsk firemen, the third is Nizhnekamsk team‘s place.

The 19^th of July, operative group of Ministry of  Emergency Situations  of Tatarstan Republic under direction of the deputy minister Nikolai Surzhko, arrived to Kaybitskiy municipal district, which is among 23 districts, suffered from drought.
