In the period from August 20 to September 20, 2014, in accordance with the plan of the main activities of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of civil defense, prevention and liquidation of emergency situations, fire safety and the safety of people on the water bodies for 2014, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, a month of children safety is being held in educational institutions of Tatarstan.
In accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Tatarstan, since 2011 state employees must undergo annually compulsory medical examinations. Since the beginning of the year 14 state employees of territorial bodies of Almetievsk and Naberezhnye Chelny passed preventive examination.
Employees of the separate post of the village Old Matveevka of Naberezhnye Chelny detachment of fire service of the Republic of Tatarstan held a checkup of fire safety of residential houses of the village Ruzhevka of Ayusky rural settlement of Menzelinsk municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The day before, the staff of firehouse number 101 of the Federal Fire Service on the Republic of Tatarstan and the special fire train workers based on the railway station Agryz held joint fire-tactical trainings on extinguishing a conditional fire in a ticket office at Agryz station of Izhevsk region train station of "Russian Railways" of Gorky Railway.
Incidents for August 18:
Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 62 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 5, dry grass extinguishing – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 6 fires, 1 of them in the residential sector.
Causes of the fires are following: careless handling of fire – 1, violation of electrical equipment use rules – 1, lack of design and manufacture of electrical equipment – 1, ascertain – 3.
Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 28 times.
Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 0.
Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 7 times. Including: door unblocking – 1, traffic accident – 3, patrolling recreation places at the water – 1, others – 2.
“Sviyaga+” school campers became desired guests of FD-106 of Federal Fire Service on protection of Apastovskiy municipal district. It was the first time the children visited firefighters, so not hiding their interest they asked questions and were delighted with the seen. The children were met by experienced MES employee, Ildar Veliev. He told about firefighters’ difficult work, causes of fire and about the importance of following fire safety rules.
Wild beaches still remain favorite places of bathing of Zelenodolsk residents: not sticking around armature, or decorated by "roses" bottom, or piles of garbage bother anyone. Employees of EMERCOM Department on RT and GIMS department of Zelenodolsk as always try to knock until vacationers are heard — another raid on unauthorized beaches passed on August 15.

Causes of the fires are following: careless handling of fire – 1, violation of fire safety rules during stove use – 3, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 1, violation of electrical equipment use rules – 1, incorrect installation of heating stove – 1, defect in vehicle systems, mechanisms and components – 1.
Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 22 times. 7 persons were rescued.
Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 6.
Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 15 times. Including: door unblocking – 4, search operations on the water – 2, traffic accident – 3, patrolling recreation places – 2, safety provision at event – 2, others – 2.
The most large-scale group of IDPs from the South-East of Ukraine in the amount of 210 people arrived to Kazan from Rostov region by train, today. Employees of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan, representatives of the city administration, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Ministry of Health of RT met citizens of Ukraine at the railway station Kazan-1.
Inspectors of Supervisory Department of FD-15 OFPS-2 on RT held an unusual activity for children and their parents in "Youth" children's camp of Almetyevsk district. This event was organized in accordance with the instruction of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan, aimed at the organization of safe recreation for children.
