The sports camp “Sputnik” located in a forest area of Aviastroitelny District of the city of Kazan has undergone another planned inspection of inspectors of State Fire Supervision. Their mission is to thoroughly identify violations prior to the arrival of the first children’s change, if any in the children's camp. The task of the camp’s management is to have time to remove the detected shortcomings before the season starts.

Prohibitions on the beaches and at places of public entertainment:

• bathing at places where boards (announcements) with preventive and prohibitive signs and inscriptions are exposed;

• swimming behind buoys designating areas of a water body reserved for bathing;

Incidents as of May 25:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 85 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 10, false alarms – 46, short circuit of wiring without burning – 3, burnt meal – 3, cooperation with other services – 12. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 4 fires, residential sector – 2, outhouses – 1, various types of property – 1.

Employees of the separate post on protection of the urban settlement of Aktyubinsky of Almetyevsk Squad of Fire Service of the Republic of Tatarstan held a training on extinguishing of possible fire and rescuing patients at the object of social protection “Aznakaevsk Home for the Elderly and Disabled”.

Incidents as of May 24:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 71 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 7, false alarms – 25, short circuit of wiring without burning – 4, burnt meal – 3, cooperation with other services – 7. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 10 fires, residential sector – 7, outhouses – 1, garden houses – 2. 1 person was injured.

Heads of separate posts on protection of the villages of Russian Makulovo of Verkhny Uslon Municipal District, Bolshie Tarkhany of Tetyushi Municipal District, Lashmanka of Cheremshan Municipal District and Mamykovo of Nurlat Municipal District of state budgetary institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan “Fire Service of the Republic of Tatarstan” held preventive lessons at a number of schools of the municipal districts of the republic.

Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 4 fires, residential sector – 2.

Today at 11.53 there was received information about finding a girl's body, who was missing in Chistopol District near the settlement of Kubassy on the night of 9th to 10th of May, near the settlement of Shuran on the river Kama of Laishevo District in 15 km from the coast during search and rescue operation by a freelance GIMS inspector. At 14.10 GIMS workers of Laishevo District extracted and handed the girl’s body (born in 1999) over to law enforcement. Her relatives identified the body.

Supervisory Department for Nizhnekamsk Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan together with Nizhnekamsk branch of TRO VDPO held traditional annual competitions of teams of young firefighters among eighth grades of schools in Nizhnekamsk and Nizhnekamsk District which have been held for more than 30 years. The competition was attended by 225 children as a part of 37 teams. The 1st place was taken by Tatarstan Cadet School of Volga Federal District Named After Hero of the Soviet Union Gani Safiullin. The 2nd place was taken by the secondary school No. 2 of the urban village of Kamskie Polyany.The 3rd place was after Lyceum №35.

Solemn events dedicated to the Day of Official Adoption of Islam by Volga Bulgaria, and the ceremonial laying of the memorial capsule at the site of creation of Bulgarian Islamic Academy in the city of Bolgar passed on May 21, 2016 in the city of Bolgar of Spas Municipal District on the territory of the Museum-Reserve. The event was attended by President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov. More than thirty thousand visitors from Tatarstan and other regions of Russia came to the feast. The event’s safety was provided by EMERCOM staff both on the land, and on the water. In total, 44 people, 14 pieces of equipment and three boats were involved.
