Today, 9 teams of departments of the 8th squad of federal fire service for the Republic of Tatarstan competed. Teams from Kaybitsy, Drozhanoe, Buinsk, Tetyushi, Apastovo, Verkhny Uslon and Kamskoe Ustye municipal districts came to Zelenodolsk for the participation in the second stage. This time, the competitions were attended by fire departments, which guard rural settlements.

Including burning garbage extinguishing – 10, false alarms – 27, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, burnt meal – 10, cooperation with other services – 15. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 8 fires, residential sector – 2. 1 person was injured.

Within the Year of Fire Service in the system of EMERCOM of Russia, on June 17, a meeting of veterans of rescue departments of three neighbouring republics (Mari El, Tatarstan and Chuvashia) took place in the city of Yoshkar-Ola. Chairman of the veterans’ organization of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Mari El, Vladimir Zagaynov, initiated the cooperative organization of the event and visit with an excursion if Mari capital.

Tomorrow, on June 23, interdepartmental complex drill with emergency services of the city (firefighters, medics, workers of gas and electric service, MIA employees) will be hold at “Trudovye Rezervy” stadium within the framework of the preparation to safety provision of the World Football Championship matches, which will take place in Kazan in 2018.

Today, the winner of the contest of professional skill for the title of “The Best Dispatcher (Radiotelephonist) of Federal Fire Service Departments for the Republic of Tatarstan” has been identified. Instead of the stage, the participants filled a class, where they passed tests on the theory of special, technical and medical education, as well as on labor protection.

On June 21, 2016, at 2 o’clock at night duty freelance inspector of Zelenodolsk Inspectorial Department of GIMS, Igor Demyanenko, received a call on a drowning man. As it became known later, a local resident being intoxicated by alcohol make his mind to swim over the Volga in the dead of night. The man “started” from the ferry on the side of Zelenodolsk.

Employees of Zelenodolsk Inspection Department of GIMS held another raid visiting favorite places of unauthorized swimming of Zelenodolsk citizens. Despite numerous hazard warnings and in connection with the settled summer weather, wishers of holidaymaking on “wild” beaches do not decrease. People do not embarrass of trash, fittings sticking out of the water, cracked glass, hidden in the sand after previous holidaymakers’ visit.
