Incidents as of August 23:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 56 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 15, false alarms – 30, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, meal burning – 0, cooperation with other services – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 7 fires: residential sector – 2, outhouses – 5.

Much fire and rescue technique near a high building of dormitory of Kazan State Power Engineering University, coherent work of fire and rescue departments, medics, police and services of life support, rescue operations with using altitude technique and climbing equipment – spectators could watch all of those things during wide-scale demonstrative fire tactic drill of forces and means of departments of Kazan fire and rescue garrison. Total of more than 200 people and 25 items of technique participated near the KSPEU dormitory building.

Incidents as of August 22:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 60 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 7, false alarms – 27, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 16. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 6 fires: residential sector – 1, outhouses – 3, vehicles – 1, dry hay – 1.

This information was sounded by the Deputy Chief of Department pf Supervisory Affairs and Preventive Work of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, Colonel of inners service, Maksim Truschin during the briefing on the theme ‘About holding supervisory and preventive work on providing fire safety to comprehensive education institutions’. The meeting with journalist was attended by the executive secretary of the Ministry of Education and Science of RT, Ayrat Kharisov.

In 2017, on August 25 between 2.00 PM and 6.00 PM and on August 26 between 6.00 AM and 2.00 PM, using small vessels, as well as sailing, pleasure, sport vessels, including jet skis, canoes, rowing boats on the river Kazanka from Kremlin dam to the ‘Millennium’ bridge is forbidden. The limit is connected with holding IRONSTAR international triathlon competitions in Kazan.

Incidents as of August 21:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 76 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 13, false alarms – 30, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, meal burning – 6, cooperation with other services – 11, others – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 11 fires: residential sector – 3, outhouses – 3, various types of property – 1, vehicles – 1, garden houses – 1, hay stack – 1.

In the morning of August 20, there was received report about collapsing of a brick wall during dismantling a garage in the city of Kazan. Quickly estimating the situation firefighters of FRD-5 OFPS-7 for RT immediately proceeded to searching victims, who were under the bulks of bricks and beams. A man born in 1988 and a woman born in 1985 were safely taken out from under the ruin and passed to the ambulance medics. The accident’s cause is being ascertained.

Including: garbage – 5, false alarms – 30, short circuit without burning– 5, meal burning – 3, cooperation with other services – 14. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 7 fires: residential sector – 3, garden houses – 1 fire. One person died/ One person was rescued.

Causes: violation of the rules of the device and operation of electric equipment – 2 fire, violation of the rules of the device and operation of furnace  – 1 fire, careless use of fire – 3, violation of the rules of usage of electric equipment – 1 fire.

 Departures of fire departments for rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 4 times.

Departures of voluntary fire protection units on firefighting – 5.

Departures of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 9 times. Including doors unlocking – 1, car accident – 2, demercurization – 1, others – 5. Preventive works - 9.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 53 times. Including: garbage – 6, false alarms – 17 short circuit without burning– 1, meal burning – 5, cooperation with other services – 12. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 8 fires: residential sector – 1. Three people was injured. Three people was saved.

Causes: violation of the rules of the device and operation of electric equipment – 3 fire, an arson – 1, violation of furnace construction and use rules – 3, careless use of fire - 1.

On August 13, 2017 at 20:05 the message about receiving burns by the man in case of ignition of coals in a brazier at the house 130 arrived down the street of Chelyuskin in Aviastroitelny district of Kazan.

From telephone conversation with the applicant it is set that his father got burns a flame as a result of ignition in his hands of a large bottle with combustible liquid (ignition) which it kindled coals in a brazier for preparation of meat. As a result of incident the citizen was hospitalized by a crew of emergency medical service in burn center of RCH.

We will remind that before use of combustible and flammable liquids it is necessary to study the instruction of manufacturer. Also use of combustible and flammable liquids for a kindling of furnaces is forbidden by Rules of fire prevention regime in the Russian Federation.
