Today, the operation of ice passages on the river Kama on the areas of the villages of Pokrovskoe — Krasny Klyuch in Yelabuga Municipal District and the settlements of Sokolka — Novozakamsk in Mamadysh Municipal District has stopped. Average temperature has risen, the structure of ice has changed, its durability has decreased, and also the melt water on the passages has formed. The remaining ice passages on the Volga River on the areas of Arakchino — Verkhny Uslon and Zelenodolsk — Nizhnie Vyazovye will be closed for traffic from the morning of April 2.

Incidents as of March 29:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 40 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 1, false alarms – 16, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, meal burning – 4, cooperation with other services – 9. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 4 fires: residential sector – 3. 1 person died.

Employees of Kazan Inspection Department of the GIMS Center held a preventive conversation with children in the school camp at the school № 43. The children were happy for such guests, because it is always interesting to learn something new and get useful advice from professionals, that then can help in various emergency situations in life. Since the beginning of 2018, there have been 690 classes in 157 secondary schools, covering 20,259 children.

As it turned out, there was a short circuit of a lamp without burning in the server room of the 'Children's World' shop located on the third floor of the shopping center. A small smoke was created. Prior to the arrival of fire departments, visitors were evacuated from the mall. Automatic system of powder fire extinguishing in the server room triggered quickly. Now, the mall operates in normal mode.

In order to minimize the damage from the passage of spring flood, on March 27, the testing of the readiness of forces and means of Naberezhnye Chelny link of territorial subsystem of RSChS was carried out in N. Chelny in the base of fire and rescue department № 55 OFPS-15. The  participant's knowledge and duties that they must possess to carry out rescue operations and provide first and medical aid to people during the flood was tested. Also appropriate equipment of each unit was presented to the 'inspection'.

Staff of the 112 emergency calls reception center of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny together with rescuers of the 6th zonal SAR detachment of EMERCOM of RT and inspectors of Naberezhnye Chelny branch of the Center of GIMS organized an open day for children of the school № 55. Employees of EMERCOM held a preventive conversation with the children on the rules of safe behavior on water bodies, told and showed the students how to help a person who fell under the ice. And on the street rescuers deployed their rescue equipment and demonstrated various hydraulic equipment.

Including garbage extinguishing – 3, false alarms – 24, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, meal burning – 4, cooperation with other services – 6, others – 2. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 8 fires: private houses – 1, apartment buildings – 4, cars – 2, garage – 1, fires on other objects – 1. 1 person died.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 37 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 1, false alarms – 12, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, meal burning – 3, cooperation with other services – 13. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 3 fires: private houses – 2, garden houses – 1. 1 person was saved, 1 person died.

Unscheduled inspections of malls initiated by the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Tatarstan have begun today in Kazan. The inspection began with the 'Gorki-Park' mall, which began to function three years ago and it has not been subjected to scheduled inspection by EMERCOM yet. For one day, of course, it is very difficult to thoroughly check such a huge mall, which occupies 38,000 square meters. That is why today the commission started checking the evacuation exits and escape schemes.

On March 27 and 28, 2018 all over the Republic there will be tested regional and local alert systems, including a comprehensive system of emergency alert of the population about the threat of emergence or the emergence of an emergency situation with the use of siren and speech siren devices.
