Including garbage extinguishing – 53, false alarms – 128, short circuit of wiring without burning – 3, meal burning – 1, cooperation with other services – 14. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 13 fires: private houses – 3, apartment buildings – 2, vehicles – 1, saunas – 3, outhouses – 2, other objects – 2.
Today more than 30 employees of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the republican environmental action 'Clean Forests of Tatarstan'. This action is aimed at creating a favorable sanitary-epidemiological situation in forests located on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan. Within the event EMERCOM employees removed household rubbish, took out wooden constructions in the forest near the 'Dubravnaya' ski-base.

More than 5 and a half thousand employees of EMERCOM took part in the 'Immortal Regiment' public action, which was held in all cities of the Republic of Tatarstan. There was the Chief of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, Lieutenant General of internal service Rafis Khabibullin among them. Descendants of the heroes carried portraits of their relatives: officers and privates, whose fates united the war.
Employees of the 8 squad of the Federal Fire Service began the charitable action on installation of fire alarms from the participants of the Great Patriotic War, who live in Zelenodolsk. The other day for the same purpose they visited their veterans of fire service.
Solemn events dedicated to the 73 anniversary of the victory of the Soviet people in Great Patriotic War began on May 9 at 10.00 at the Millennium Square of Kazan with the line-up of troops of Kazan garrison and the prologue of the holiday, which was attended by more than a thousand people. The parade unit of EMERCOM was led by the flag group.
Today in Bugulma on the eve of Victory Day, EMERCOM employees of the South-Eastern Tatarstan laid flowers to the stele of a firefighter, a hero of the Soviet Union, Gazinur Gafiatullin, who closed the enemy machine gun by his chest during the war and saved hundreds of lives of his comrades. For heroic feat in the fight against the Nazi invaders Sergeant Gafiatullin was awarded with the title of Hero of the Soviet Union with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star Medal.
On May 3, there were held competitions among units of the gas and smoke protection service of the second squad of the Federal Fire Service, that were dedicated to the memory of firefighters killed in the performance of duties. In hardest fight for the first place the units of FRD-77 won.
