Shouts for help, hysteria, rivers of blood, a state of shock — such unexpected tasks and immersion into a simulated reality were expected today by participants of the II All-Russian Student Olympiad on first aid. Students from Russian universities, experts in first aid, came to the capital of Tatarstan to three days. Among the participants there are not only students of specialized medical disciplines, but also students of other specialties.

On November 14, the first aid tasks for cardiopulmonary resuscitation of the injured were completed, the rescue rope was attached to the construction, knitting mountaineering knots, overcoming the 'Rise/ Descent' rock relief, and elimination of consequences of an emergency with the removal of an injured from under the 'Ruins'.

Incidents as of November 14:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 55 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 4, false alarms – 18, short circuit – 3, meal burning – 1, cooperation with other services – 12, other – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 12 fires: residential sector – 6. 2 persons were rescued.

In the morning of November 14, on the ice of the Vyatka River in the town of Mamadysh, a man of 25 years old could not go back. Rescuers of ZPSO No. 5 arrived on the boat 'Kazanka' reached the man, who was located in 60 meters from the coast on the ice that was not strong. The saved was in a state of intoxication, and could not explain his actions. 

On November 13, there was a solemn opening of the Regional Championship 'Young Professionals' (WorldSkills Russia) of the Republic of Tatarstan of the championship cycle 2018/2019 at the Tetyushi State College of Civil Protection. 5 teams of young professionals and 6 teams of juniors came to the start this year. The event was attended by honored guests of the championship: Acting Minister for Civil Defense and Emergencies of the Republic of Tatarstan Nikolay Surzhko , Head of the Prospective Development Department of EMERCOM of the Republic of Tatarstan Svetlana Politova, Deputy Head of Tetyushi Municipal District Evgeniy Kurkov, Chief of the FRD-133 Fokin S. A.

Today, the inspector of the inter-district department of supervisory activities and preventive work in Aktanysh and Menzelinsk municipal districts Almaz Aflyatunov conducted the fire-prevention instruction in 'Umyrzaya' Rehabilitation Center for Children and Adolescents with Disabilities.

On reservoirs of the Republic of Tatarstan in places with a weak current, in bays and lakes the ice structure began form. Ice thickness is still very small and poses a threat. Ice with a thickness of not less than 7 cm is considered safe. When ice thickness is less than 7 cm there may be warning or imposition of an administrative fine on citizens from 1 500 to 2 000 rubles.

The culture of fire-safe behavior was instilled today in elementary school by employees of the state fire supervision of Almetyevsk municipal district. GPN inspectors decided to start the safety lesson with a presentation material, after which the young audience was asked questions about the 'fire material' that they passed.

In Arsk District, in the Rehabilitation Center 'Mercy Center', within the Year of Safety Culture, a discussion was held on fire-fighting topics with patients and staff of the center, which was held by the head of the separate security post in the village of New Kiner of Kazan Fire Service Unit of the Republic of Tatarstan.
