"About the readiness for the spring flood of 2019 and ensuring the safety of the population and the territory of the Zelenodolsk municipal district" – this was the main theme of today's district meeting of the Commission on emergency situations and fire safety.

During the meeting of the CES, the heads of rural settlements reported on the activities that are carried out in the settlements most at risk of flooding by melt water. As a preventive measure, there is a constant monitoring of buildings, engineering structures, communications, roads, where a high level of water is assumed. Appointed person for water metering posts, defined the place of evacuation (temporary shelters), as well as prepared the necessary supplies of material resources for the implementation of emergency operations during floods. In addition, the work on cleaning ditches, drainage pipes and ditches, storm sewers is organized, the state of roads, overpasses, bridges, sidewalks and other engineering structures is monitored.

In order to popularize the profession of fireman, employees of a separate post for the protection of the village Big Shemyakino in Apastovo fire service of the Republic of Tatarstan held an open lesson on "Fire is heroic profession" in the secondary school of the village Big Shemyakino in Tetyushy municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The children were told about the work of firefighters, about how firefighters master high combat train, told about the combat clothes of a firefighter, about the means and methods of firefighting. Also, special attention was paid to students, teachers and parents present fire safety requirements in the school, at home and on the street. In conclusion, all those present were handed a memo on the fire theme for better assimilation of the material and the consolidation of fire safety measures.

The rules of fire safety studied today Arsk pupils of the kindergarten №8. During the training sessions, children learn to act correctly in emergency situations, to understand the complex world of "dangers" and to master the skills of assistance.

Incidents for March 12:  

Fire departments of GPS of the main Department of EMERCOM of Russia on RT left on alarm 31 times. From them on false calls-13 times, on short circuit without burning-1 time, on burning of food – 2 times, on interaction with other services – 8 times. Firefighters of the Republic eliminated-6 fires, including in apartment buildings - 1 fire in private houses 3 fire in warehouses and buildings - 1 fire in the car - 1 fire.

According to the order of the Commission on prevention and liquidation of emergency situations and fire safety of the Republic of Tatarstan from 20.06.2018 № 16-18R "About the measures of preparing for the flood of 2019" in the Republic is actively working to prepare for the accident-free passage of the spring flood.

During the last two weeks, employees of the inter-district department of supervision and preventive work in the Alkeevsk and Spassk municipal districts together with employees of the social service center "Zabota", LLC "Gazprom transgaz Kazan" conducted preventive raids on the places of residence of families belonging to the "risk group", to check the state of fire safety of housing. The most vulnerable segments of the population are disadvantaged citizens, large families, elderly citizens living alone and persons with disabilities.

Incidents for March 11: 

Fire departments of SFS of Main emergency management Russia on RT went on alert 41 times. From them on false calls-18 times, on short circuit without burning-1 time, on burning of food – 3 times, on interaction with other services – 15 times. Firefighters of the Republic eliminated - 3 fires, of them in apartment buildings - 1 fire, on other objects - 2 fires. 1 person is saved.

March 11, 13.00 the ice passage Zelenodolsk - Nizhnie Viazovye had completed its work. Technical examination by the inspectors of the SISV center revealed a change in the structure and thickness of the ice. Thus, all four ice crossings operating in Tatarstan are finally closed from today.

We will remind that today following the results of technical survey by inspectors of the SISV Center movement on an ice crossing through the river Kama on a route the village Pokrovskoye – Krasny Kluch in the Elabuga municipal area is stopped. And from 15.00 passage on the ice road across the Volga river on the Arakchino-Upper Uslon closed. Another ice crossing in Mamadyshsky district across the Kama river on the route Sokolka village - New Zakamsky village was closed on March 4, 2019.

The kindergarten №50 of Nizhnekamsk district are active participants in competitions related to fire protection. Chief state inspector of Nizhnekamsk municipal district for fire supervision Ramil Nasibullin reminded the children of the safety rules:

 Matches are not toys! They can cause a fire. A small spark can imperceptibly ignite paper or other surfaces and cause damage.

08.00 11.03.2019 a technical inspection by the inspectors of SISV Centre stopped traffic on the ice crossing through the river Kama in the village of Pokrovskoye route – the ReKrasnye Kluch in the Yelabuga municipal district. This ice crossing has completed its work this season.

At 10.00 on March 11, inspectors of the SISV Center will conduct a technical inspection of the Arakchino-Upper Uslon ice crossing. Tomorrow, March 12 is scheduled technical inspection of the ice crossing Zelenodolsk-Lower Vyazovye in Zelenodolsk district. According to forecasts of SISV employees, all ice crossings will complete their work tomorrow.
