Accidents on January 14:

Fire departments of SFS of Russia EMERCOM on RT had departures on alarms 41 times. Firefighters of the Republic eliminated 6 fires: in the residential sector-5 fires, vehicles-1 fire.

Since January 1, 2021, changes to the Rules of the Fire Regime in the Russian Federation have come into effect, according to which barriers, frames, sliding gates of certain structures that prevent the entry of fire equipment into the courtyards of houses will be outlawed and will be subject to either re-equipment or dismantling.

Employees of the EMERCOM remind all residents of the need to comply with fire safety measures. In order to prevent fires, inspectors of the department of supervision and preventive work in the Zelenodolsk district, together with employees of the 8th fire and rescue squad, conduct joint raids on apartment buildings in Zelenodolsk.

Fire departments of SFS of Russia EMERCOM on RT had departures on alarms 55 times. Firefighters of the Republic eliminated 13 fires: in buildings (structures) of residential purpose and outbuildings-9 fires. Unfortunately, 1 person died.

Arrived firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, and in the kitchen, filled with acrid smoke, found a sooty and frightened cat, which was taken out into the street, carried out resuscitation measures with the help of a breathing apparatus. The cat was pumped out by firefighters and rescued.

MD of RT EMERCOM recalled that the onset of the extremely cold temperatures associated with the active use of a population of heaters. Failure of residents to comply with fire safety rules in the operation of furnace heating, gas equipment and electrical appliances leads to fires.
