Since the beginning of the year in the Republic of Tatarstan, fire and rescue units have responded to 410 fires, of which 285 cases occurred in the residential sector, which is 23% higher than the same indicators of the previous year (232 fires). The rapid actions of the employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations allowed to save 79 people in the fires. This was announced by the Deputy head of the Department of Supervision and Preventive Work of the Main Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan, Head of the Department of Administrative Practice and Inquiry, Colonel of the internal Service Alexey Pashin.
In connection with the complication of the situation with fires in the region, the Main Department of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan calls for citizens to take responsibility for ensuring fire safety of their homes and to control the behavior of their children.
Also, you need to pay attention to the device of the furnace and electrical equipment - the use of home-made electrical appliances or an unrepaired furnace can lead to a tragedy. In addition, careless handling of fire, including smoking, is the cause of most fires with the loss of life.
