On the day of the professional holiday – the Day of the Rescuer of Russia – Zelenodolsk employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations made a gift for the pupils of the social shelter for children and teenagers "Nest". 
Competitions and quizzes were held, funny performances with Santa Claus the Rescuer were arranged, encyclopedias and educational board games were presented. On behalf of the entire personnel of the unit, they donated packages of basic necessities for the youngest pupils of the "Nest".

December 27 is the Day of the Rescuer of the Russian Federation. On this day in 1990, the Russian Rescue Corps was formed to perform work in extreme conditions in the event of emergencies, which became the basis for the creation and development of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

New Year is a time when the most intimate dreams come true. So today, firefighters of the Kazan Fire and Rescue garrison were able to realize the New Year's dreams of two children from Naberezhnye Chelny, who turned out to be on the website of the Elkazhelaniy.rf project. Kazan firefighters performed such a New Year's miracle within the framework of the charity event "Wish Christmas tree", which is now taking place all over Russia.

Inspectors of the State Fire Supervision took into account 1617 objects of New Year's events, 881 of them with a mass stay of children. Preventive measures have been planned at all the facilities involved.

Representatives of all departments traditionally gathered to hear an assessment of operational performance over the past year and determine the main areas of work for the coming year.
