Guard Chief Heroically Died During Fire Extinguishing in Kazan State Gunpowder Factory

At 8.24 P.M. on March 24, the console of the fire and rescue department No. 3 of the Special Office of federal fire service No. 35 received a signal about fire alarm trigger in a warehouse of Kazan State Gunpowder Factory. When the guard chief of the special FD-3, Captain of inner service, Eduard Illarionov, arrived to the fire site first, he set his staff a task to deploy trunk-lines and install fire truck onto water sources, and himself decided to personally explore the dangerous zone. During the exploration there was an explosion in the building, as a result of which the captain got injured.
