Civil Defense of the Republic of Tatarstan Is Ready to Perform Tasks as Intended

That was told today to journalists at the briefing “Civil Defense of the Republic of Tatarstan in Modern Conditions”, which took place in “Tatarinform” informational agency by the Deputy Chief of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan (on protection, monitoring and emergency situations prevention), Colonel Andrey Orlov.

First of all, Andrey Orlov made a little excursus to the history of the institution of March 1 as the World Civil Defense Day. After that he acquainted journalist with the republic’s civil defense development on the modern stage. He made a stress especially on three main tasks of civil defense: alarming population, its evacuation and solving the task in social direction of population’s safety provision.
