Firefighters Rescued 30 People in Osinovo

A large fire was in the township of Osinovo today in the early morning. By the arrival of first fire crews and apartment on the seventh floor was burning with open fire, thick black smoke was emitting from the windows of the whole stairway of the fourth entrance, and people were asking for help from the windows. At 8.27 rescue operations were over. Rescuers saved total of 30 people, including 6 children. As a result of the fire, the apartment of the seventh floor with the area of 75 sq. meters was totally burnt down.

Total of 26 vehicles and 47 people from emergency response services of Zelenodolsk Municipal District, as well as from the city of Kazan were involved in the fire elimination. The initial combustion was observed on the balcony. Possible cause of the fire is careless using fire when smoking by unknown person.
