Zelenodolsk Firefighters Held a Tactical Lesson in a Children’s Art School

Employees of 8th squad of federal fire service for the Republic of Tatarstan held fire tactic lessons in Zelenodolsk children’s art school. According to the trainings legend, the ignition happened because of a short circuit in the basement of the school, 1st and 2nd floors and flights of stairs filled with smoke. The duty janitor immediately reports to fire service, turns on fire alarm; the teachers organize the children’s evacuation.

Fire departments, which arrive on the alarm, immediately deploy their equipment for fire extinguishing and people rescuing. According to the drill conditions, children remained in the building. Firefighters make a reconnaissance of the rooms, take one injured out from the basement, rescue another one from the second floor with the help of a three-section ladder, and one more victim, which role was played by a dummy, was rescued by a “life cube”, people’s quick evacuation device. The rescued are delivered to the ambulance brigades. The preliminary mark of the drill is “satisfactory”.
