Characteristic Incidents for the Last Day

Incidents as of May 28:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 62 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 12, false alarms – 24, short circuit of wiring without burning – 3, burnt meal – 5, cooperation with other services – 4. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 9 fires, residential sector – 4, outhouses – 3, various types of property – 1, vehicles – 1. 1 person was injures, 1 person died.

Causes: careless smoking – 2, wrong installation and defect in heating furnace and chimney – 1, lightning – 1, violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 2, violation of technological production process – 1, violation of electrical equipment technical use rules – 1, faulty vehicle systems and mechanisms – 1.

Departures of fire departments for rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 5 times.

Departures of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 4.

Departures of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 9 times. Doors unlocking – 3, traffic accidents – 1, searching the lost on the water – 1, others – 4. Preventive departures – 4.

· do not abuse alcohol, never smoke in bed;

· do not leave children unattended, teach them basic rules of fire safety;

· never use faulty electrical wiring, do not overload the grid, use caution when using electric heaters;

· do not leave powered on electrical and gas devices unattended.

Remember! A fire does not occur by itself.  Its cause is the human negligence and carelessness use of fire. A drunk person loses control of oneself and one’s actions, and all the more cannot bear any responsibility for another person's life.
