On the Eve of the Opening of Bathing Season Tatarstan Beaches Pass the Safety Exam

Specialists of the Center of State Inspectorate for Small Vessels EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan hold a technical examination of the city's beaches for swimming season preparedness. Today, “Nizhnee Zarechye” beach was the object of the audit of GIMS inspectors. As said Chief State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan for Small Vessels, Yuri Venediktov, no remarks were found during the examination.

Technical inspections of the beaches have been being held since May 20 in the republic. Total of 32 beach are registered in GIMS. At present, 16 recreation and swimming places have undergone the tests, according to their results 11 beaches allowed to operate; this is 3 beaches in Kazan, 5 in Laishevo District, and 3 in Chistopol District.

Preventive ice safety raids

Rescuers of ZSRU No. 6 (Naberezhnye Chelny), which are part of the Search and Rescue Service of the Republic of Tatarstan, conducted preventive raids aimed at raising awareness and safety culture of the population on the ice, especially among fishermen.
