Liquidators of the Chernobyl NPP Accident Are Being Treated at the Republican Center for Rehabilitation of EMERCOM of RT Named After Sh. S. Karatay

Every year, liquidators of the Chernobyl NPP accident undergo a rehabilitation at the Republican Rehabilitation Center of EMERCOM of RT named after Sh. S. Karatay. So, this April there are ten of Chernobyl liquidators being treated at the center. Each of them takes individual treatment appointed by medical commission, in accordance with rehabilitation programs provided by the center.

The center is one of the few in Russia initiators of putting health and capacity recovery technology into practice to those people who were affected by emergencies, which were recommended in the early 21st century by the World Health Organization. The center has gained a unique experience on the rehabilitation of people affected by emergencies.
