Incidents as of April 14:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 99 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 21, dry grass – 0, false alarms – 43, short circuit of wiring without burning – 5, burnt meal – 1, cooperation with other services – 8. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 16 fires, including residential sector – 6. 1 person injured, 4 people were rescued.

Causes: violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 2, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 4, violation of fire safety rules during electrical household appliance use – 1, careless use of fire – 4, violation of fire safety rules during gas equipment use – 1, faulty vehicle systems and mechanisms – 1, careless smoking – 2, careless burning of garbage – 1.

Departures of fire departments for rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 4 times.

Departures of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 6.

Departures of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 11 times. Demercurization – 1, cooperation with FD at a fire – 1, water pumping – 1, searching a lost person – 1, doors unlocking – 2, traffic accident – 1, others – 2. Preventive works – 5.

· do not abuse alcohol, never smoke in bed;

· do not leave children unattended, teach them basic rules of fire safety;

· never use faulty electrical wiring, do not overload the grid, use caution when using electric heaters;

· do not leave powered on electrical and gas devices unattended.

Remember! A fire does not occur by itself.  Its cause is the human negligence and carelessness use of fire. A drunk person loses control of oneself and one’s actions, and all the more cannot bear any responsibility for another person's life.
