Measures of Caution When Using Electric Appliances

1. Carefully learn the manual for using an electric appliance.

2. Using an appliance more than the noted date of usage may cause deplorable consequences.

3. Use appliances just of factory production.

4. Do not allow usage of electric heating appliances which have no heat protection devices, as well as when the thermoregulator is absent or faulty.

5. Systematically check the repair of electric wiring, electric sockets and plugs of a heater.

6. Watch the condition of a heating appliance.

7. Avoid overload on electric network, when plugging at once several powerful consumers into one electric socket.

8. Make sure that the plug inserted into electric socket correctly.

9. Do not leave powered on electric appliances unattended, do not allow children to play with them, and do not use them for drying clothes.

10. Do not use a heater in a room with varnish-and-paint materials, solvents and other highly inflammable liquids. Also, do not place an electric heater in cluttered up and littered rooms.

11. A heater should be placed on a safe distance from flammable constructions and materials.

12. Regularly clean a heater from dust, it also may ignite.

13. Do not use temporary wiring, as well as extension cords for electric heater supply.

14. Do not place electric wiring of a heater under carpets and other surfaces.

15. Do not put heavy items (e. g. furniture) on electric wiring.

16. When a faulty in an electric heater is found (wiring heats up, bulbs are twinkling, arcing, etc.) it must be immediately deenergized.
