Incidents as of March 3:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 58 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 4, false alarms – 18, short circuit of wiring without burning – 5, burnt meal – 1, cooperation with other services – 15, others – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 6 fires, including 2 in the residential sector, outhouses – 1, vehicles – 1, various types of property – 2. 1 person was injured, 5 people were rescued.

Causes: violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 1, carelessness when smoking – 1, violation of fire safety rules during gas equipment use – 1, ascertain – 1, violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 1, faulty vehicle systems, mechanisms and components – 1.

Departures of fire departments for rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 9 times.

Departures of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 0.

Departures of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 6 times. Including: doors unlocking – 1, traffic accident – 3, demercurization – 1, others – 6. Preventive works – 4.

Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan Warn:

· do not abuse alcohol, never smoke in bed;

· do not leave children unattended, teach them basic rules of fire safety;

· never use faulty electrical wiring, do not overload the grid, use caution when using electric heaters;

· do not leave powered on electrical and gas devices unattended.

Remember! A fire does not occur by itself.  Its cause is the human negligence and carelessness use of fire. A drunk person loses control of oneself and one’s actions, and all the more cannot bear any responsibility for another person's life.
