Today the Traffic on the Last Fourth Ice Passage in the Republic Will Be Temporarily Stopped

On February 25 from 9:00 A.M., according to operating entity leadership’s decision, in connection with weather conditions and until special order, the traffic of vehicles on the ice passage over the Kama on the route between the villages of Sokolki and Zakamsky in Mamadyshsky District will be temporarily stopped. As of today, all of the ice passages in the republic are temporarily closed for car traffic.

The Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan reminds that it is categorically forbidden on ice passages:

- to make holes for fishing and other purposes;
- to walk and drive over at not fenced and unsecured places;
- to drive scheduled buses and cars with passengers. Passengers must be set down before driving to a passage.

If your car went into the water, it is necessary to:

- while the car keeps above the water immediately leave it through side windows, it is desirable not to open the doors, because the car will sink faster;
- if the car peaked the flukes, before leaving it breathe deeply several times and get out of the car, as far as possible get rid of “heavy” clothes (shoes, coat, jacket);
- it is necessary to save children at first, cuddle the kid by its back to yourself, close its nose and mouth with fingers and rise to the surface.
