Open Fire on the Roof of the Residential Building at Pushkina St., 5 in Kazan Was Eliminated, No Injured

At 6:50 P.M. via 112, there was received a report on that a flat started burning in a six-storied building with administrative rooms, the fire exited to the roof across wooden coverings. Thanks to efficient actions of fire service employees, there was no injured and dead. Fire crues of Kazan Garrison kept back fire’s spreading. Total area of the fire was 600 sq. meters.

Total of 166 people and 42 vehicles including 108 people and 25 vehicles from EMERCOM of Russia were involved in fire consequences liquidation. Fire extinguishing leader reported on open fire liquidation at 10:08 P.M.

The residents of the building are accommodated in “Tatarstan” hotel. As of 11:20 P.M., 120 people, including 4 children, were accommodated and provided with hot meal.
