Incidents as of January 6:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 69 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 6, false alarms – 31, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, singed meal – 2, cooperation with other services – 12. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 8 fires, including 2 in residential sector, outhouses – 3, various types of property – 1, vehicles – 2.

Causes: violation of fire safety rules during electrical household appliance use – 1, violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 3, deliberate actions on destruction (damaging) of property – 2, carelessness when smoking – 1, careless use of fire – 1.

Rides of fire departments for rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 8 times.

Rides of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 1.

Rides of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 10 times. Including: door unlocking – 2, traffic accident – 1, search and rescue operations – 2, report on explosive – 1. Preventive departures for places crowded with fishermen – 2, for cooperation duty with GIMS at the water – 2, for conversations with fishermen – 1, safety provision of people and guests at Christmas celebration – 1.

· do not abuse alcohol, never smoke in bed;

· do not leave children unattended, teach them basic rules of fire safety;

· never use faulty electrical wiring, do not overload the grid, use caution when using electric heaters;

· do not leave powered on electrical and gas devices unattended.

Remember! A fire does not occur by itself.  Its cause is the human negligence and carelessness use of fire. A drunk person loses control of oneself and one’s actions, and all the more cannot bear any responsibility for another person's life.
