Incidents as of January 4:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 54 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 0, false alarms – 17, short circuit of wiring without burning – 4, singed meal – 2, cooperation with other services – 16. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 8 fires, including 2 in residential sector, outhouses – 2, various types of property – 4.

Causes: violation of fire safety rules during electrical equipment use – 2, wrong installation and defect in heating furnace and chimney – 2, violation of electrical equipment technical use rules – 2, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 2.

Rides of fire departments for rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 7 times.

Rides of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 3.

Rides of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 5 times. Including: door unlocking – 2, traffic accident – 3, others – 1. Preventive departures for places crowded with fishermen – 2, for cooperation duty with GIMS – 2, for conversations with fishermen – 2.

· do not abuse alcohol, never smoke in bed;

· do not leave children unattended, teach them basic rules of fire safety;

· never use faulty electrical wiring, do not overload the grid, use caution when using electric heaters;

· do not leave powered on electrical and gas devices unattended.

Remember! A fire does not occur by itself.  Its cause is the human negligence and carelessness use of fire. A drunk person loses control of oneself and one’s actions, and all the more cannot bear any responsibility for another person's life.
