Characteristic Incidents for the Last Day

Incidents as of December 27:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 59 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 7, false alarms – 16, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2,  singed meal – 2, cooperation with other services – 18, others – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 5 fires, including 3 in residential sector, vehicles – 2.

Causes: faulty vehicle systems, mechanisms and components – 2, careless use of fire – 1, violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 1, wrong installation and defect in heating furnace and chimney – 1.

Rides of fire departments for rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 8 times. 1 person was rescued.

Rides of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 2.

Rides of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 7 times. Including: door unlocking – 2, traffic accident – 1, cooperation with other services – 1, fire – 1, others – 2. Preventive works – 5.

Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan Warn:

· do not abuse alcohol, never smoke in bed;

· do not leave children unattended, teach them basic rules of fire safety;

· never use faulty electrical wiring, do not overload the grid, use caution when using electric heaters;

· do not leave powered on electrical and gas devices unattended.

Remember! A fire does not occur by itself.  Its cause is the human negligence and carelessness use of fire. A drunk person loses control of oneself and one’s actions, and all the more cannot bear any responsibility for another person's life.
