Forces and Means of EMERCOM of Russia Are Ready to Respond During the Period of New Year Celebrations

Thematic videoconference on readiness of forces and means of EMERCOM of Russia, territorial subsystems of RSChS and its units to provide safety of people’s life and stability of life support during the period of New Year celebrations was held in the situational hall of National Crisis Management Center of EMERCOM of Russia under the leadership of Minister Vladimir Puchkov. Territorial bodies of EMERCOM of Russia realize a complex of measures within seasonal preventive operation “New Year”. In December, supervisory bodies launched unplanned exit inspections of anti-fire condition of objects. Special attention was paid to issues of organization of primary life support of drivers on federal and regional highways.

Vladimir Puchkov ordered to switch the staff of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for subjects of Russian Federation to enforced mode of service, introduce all fire equipment to battle crews maximally during the period of New Year and Christmas celebrations.
