Characteristic Incidents for the Last Day

Incidents as of June 30:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 69 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 5, false alarms – 27, singed meal – 1, short circuit of wiring without burning – 4, cooperation with other services – 13. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 5 fires, 3 of them in residential sector. 1 person was injured.

Causes are: carelessness when smoking – 1, lightning – 2, wrong installation and defect in heating furnace and chimney – 1, careless handling of fire – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 14 times.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 4.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 13 times. Including: searching operations on the water – 3, door unblocking – 3, others – 7.

Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for RT warn:

· do not abuse alcohol, never smoke in bed;

· do not leave children unattended, teach them basic rules of fire safety;

· never use faulty electrical wiring, do not overload the grid, use caution when using electric heaters;

· do not leave electrical and gas devices unattended.
