Characteristic Incidents for the Last Day

Incidents as of June 22:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 116 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 18, false alarms – 54, singed meal – 1, short circuit of wiring without burning – 5, cooperation with other services – 13, others – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 12 fires, 5 of them in residential sector. 1 person died.

Causes are: careless handling of fire – 3, carelessness when smoking – 1, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 1, violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 1, wrong installation and defect in heating furnace and chimney – 1,  violation of electrical equipment technical use rules – 2, arson – 2, lighntning – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 12 times.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 6.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 17 times. Including: door unblocking – 7, others – 7, searching for a drowned person – 3.

Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for RT warn:

· do not abuse alcohol, never smoke in bed;

· do not leave children unattended, teach them basic rules of fire safety;

· never use faulty electrical wiring, do not overload the grid, use caution when using electric heaters;

· do not leave electrical and gas devices unattended.
