Characteristic Incidents for the Last Day

Incidents as of March 29:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 54 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 3, false alarms – 18, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, singed meal – 2, cooperation with other services – 5, others – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 12 fires, 2 of them in residential sector. 2 people were saved.

Causes are: carelessness when smoking – 1, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 3, violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 1, arson – 1, careless handling of fire – 3, wrong installation and defect in heating furnace and chimney – 3.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 8 times.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 2.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 10 times. Including: unblocking – 3, others – 1, cooperative raid with GIMS at places where fishermen fishing on the ice – 1, preventive raid at mass gathering places of fishermen – 3, examining bridges places of jam formation – 1.

Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for RT warn:

· do not abuse alcohol, never smoke in bed;

· do not leave children unattended, teach them basic rules of fire safety;

· never use faulty electrical wiring, do not overload the grid, use caution when using electric heaters;

· do not leave electrical and gas devices unattended.
